I fail to see why, at this point, he would get 1,2 and 3. Wouldnt it be wise to get just 3 and the expansion. AOE3 is still expensive for what it is. It soon drops low (or pops onto limewire). I normally pick them up for a fiver, a good game - not worth its original selling value though.

i like age of empires at the moment im playing battle for middle earth 2 its really quite similar at AOE's but i do love the game though

I cant stand age of empires one, 2 is good and i have only played the deamo of 3, but that looks pretty decent 2. I dont really play rts anymore but i think im gona get c&c tiberium wars

Age of empires 2 is an awsome game. But i dont play it anymore because, in my opinion, there are too many cheaters out there, and the single player mode is no real fun.
