How long does it take to update?

Supposed to be immediate but doesn't look like it is at the moment, I guess it's because it's in Beta at the moment.

EDIT: Seems some things are instant because it loaded my new shield pretty quickly.

Hmm yeah, perhaps adding new chars. takes a couple of days? It updated my new clothes yesterday though, and I didn't put them on until late yesterday so it did it quite quickly.
